A cool climate take on the classic red, made in specially selected barrels that showcase the depth and power of Sangiovese. Dark, broody, and structured. Medium bodied, vibrant and full with a juicy palate of dark cherry, warm spices and fine firm tannins throughout. It takes some time in the glass to reveal itself. The Brunette is a small bottling, produced in very good years. Try it with an aged steak or giant grilled mushrooms.
