One of the must see wineries near Canberra

Ours is a journey of interconnection, a winding country road, over the creek, up through the stringy bark forest and onto the freedom of an open clearing.

Small parcels of fruit grow here, with healthy soils, clear air, brilliant sunshine and an organic approach, rewarding Fiona with exquisite fruit.  With her hands and a meticulous manner she creates, Yarrh Wines - running water.

We consistently produce a high quality range of small batch, hand crafted, estate grown and bottled wines, available for purchase at the cellar door, on-line and through selected retail outlets.

Our winery and cellar door was established with strong environmental practices, boasting a contemporary Australian rammed earth and straw bale design, and a magnificent view across the Yass River valley.

Come and visit us Friday, Saturday, Sunday and most Public Holidays from 11am - 5pm (closed in July).  Just 45 minutes from the Canberra CBD and 10 minutes from Murrumbateman village.

Tuesday, 18 October 2016

Saturday 29 October and Sunday 30 October

The inaugural Festival of Flavour is more than just a food and wine event...it celebrates the different cultures that go into the unique and diverse flavours that we enjoy in Regional NSW.

The Festival will run over two days and one evening at the Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds giving locals and visitors a wide range of the unique tastes of what the Canberra region has to offer...from its fine foods, wines and music. Yarrh Wines will be one of the many local wineries attending. We will be pouring and selling our new release wines. Come along and try them!

One of the highlights of the event will be the Saturday night VIP Long Table Banquet where you can enjoy an evening of amazing foods and wines, complete with entertainment and gifts - a spectacular must do event!

All food and wine will be from the wider Canberra region. This region covers the area from Eurobodalla down the South Coast, the Snowy Mountains and right through to Young and Goulburn - so much to choose from!. Check out the Festival of Flavour website for more details.
