Our winery and surrounding gardens are available for functions. The beautiful setting, glorious views and spectacular modern building provide the perfect venue for a range of functions. So join us at Yarrh and make your next function a truly unique and memorable experience.

Christmas Parties at Yarrh

For a unique Christmas venue, why not have your party at Yarrh.

Parties up to 50 people welcome.

The Yarrh Christmas experience consists of:

  • First course
    • Smoked salmon blini OR
    • Pumpkin and hazelnut pesto bits
  • Second course
    • Roast beef and spinach salad w horseradish cream OR
    • Fresh tuna, egg, olive, potato and courgette salad OR
    • Red pepper and pine nut tart w goat's cheese
  • Third course
    • Mini Christmas cake OR
    • Lemon tart and
    • Tea or coffee
  • Wine - 2 glasses of Yarrh wine
  • Cost - $40 per person

Weddings and Parties Cost

The basic cost of hiring Yarrh as a venue is $300 an hour. For this you get use of the public facilities and one of the partners in attendance (not as waiting staff!).

Exclusive use

The winery is open to the public on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 11am till 5pm. During those hours we cannot provide you with exclusive access to the bar area and access paths.

Facilities

The venue is suitable for groups of up to 70 for indoor events and for many more if marquees are used. The winery has a bar area, paved terrace, lawned gardens and native flower beds. It has a small kitchen, plus a unisex and disabled access toilet. The barrel cellar can seat up to 60.

Catering

We have limited catering facilities so you will probably need to organise outside caterers. We highly recommend two firms:

  • Schönegg Country Guest House is just a couple of kilometres away and can cater for almost any event (www.schonegg.com.au).
  • Kitchen Witchery, based in Canberra, is a long-established firm which has prepared superb quality degustation menus for us to complement our wines (phone 6280 9882).

Parking

There is ample parking onsite and in the adjacent vineyard in all but the most extreme wet weather.

Transport

Murray’s have provided the following indicative costs for coach transport to Yarrh from Civic for a daytime function, allowing approximately 3 hours at the winery:

1 x 19-seat coach return $365.00

1 x 34-seat coach return $518.00

1 x 48-seat coach return $585.00

1 x 61-seat coach return $668.00
